Summary: Reveals Robert Mugabe's true colours
Comment: Highly recommended account of the atrocities committed against unarmed civilians in Zimbabwe barely 3 years after independence.

NB: the 5 Brigade army unit which committed these terrible crimes answered DIRECTLY to Mugabe -- the only army unit so to do. Tells you something...

This book should be mandatory reading for all those who continue to believe that Robert Mugabe was a great leader for the first couple of decades after independence, who only 'went bad' in the year 2000 when the land seizures began.

He's been a very, very nasty individual all along... it's just that virtually no-one outside Zimbabwe noticed -- or cared...

But don't just take my word for it -- ask the Matabele.
